Glowmundo's Transformative Parent Program

So many of our immigrant and refugee parents feel alienated by our school system. There are language barriers, cultural barriers, and often unexamined power dynamics at play. Additionally, many of our parents are under immense stress, juggling financial constraints, time constraints, and parenting responsibilities. 

Glowmundo works intimately with parents to:

1. Build trust and increase engagement in their child's school community

2. Teach them how to build social-emotional skills in their child

3. Develop their own stress management and resilience practice so they have more room to focus on the joy of raising a family
